Bluebell Railway Funding for the Future Keep Up the Pressure Campaign. Our thanks to those who generated valuable funds here to help get us to East Grinstead. Passenger numbers have since significantly increased and require us to run longer trains. We urgently now need funds to facilitate the earlier restoration of additional larger steam locomotives to accommodate this extra traffic. The "Keep Up The Pressure" appeal was launched to create a locomotive overhaul fund, for which the target is £400,000. The fund will be used to send two boilers away to outside contractors for accelerated overhaul and to pay for the associated costs required to bring the locomotives back into steam.
